Hello all. I've had in interest in the model 8 for many years now. I'm a younger guy but I've always loved anything designed by John Browing. I just posted in the model 8 section about a rifle in an auction near me but I also own 2 model 81s both in .300 savage, hoping to add a 8.

I too like the 300S, just need a limbsaver to ease my shoulder when I drop the hammer. Nice looker, is that a S&W I see? Got a small group of those too...
