This .22 was the replacement for Great Grandaddy's Remington Model 34. I'll have to share more on that when I post that rifle, it's a neat story. The Model 34 still lives and shoots wonderfully.
I had 2 tables setup at the Centre Hall gunshow with my dad this past weekend. I found 2 very nice Weaver K4's. The one has fine crosshairs and other is duplex. I did alright with what I brought to the show. I had a 30 Rem Model 8 on my table as a "conversation piece" it had a price but I really didn't plan/want to sell it. It surely brought some curiosity
and conversation from a few of the attendees.
I mounted the scope up Sunday evening and had some time last night to put some rounds on paper. The first shot was about 10" left and 2" low. I'll say that i made a pretty good first adjustment! Varmints & pop cans beware...
