POE - sling and sight

Heya guys,

I wonder what kind of sling the POE rifles used. In the Henwood book there is a description at page 130 where you can see a sling. But, I haven't found any information (or have read over it) about the sling itself.

Second question. My POE rifle has a hole for a tang sight screw at the back of the receiver. But, did the police used tang sights at their POE rifles?

Can anybody explain?

When I bought my Police 81 (an LASD gun), it was equipped with a tang mounted peep sight. There is another LASD gun on one of the auction sites right now that has the same tang-mounted peep. In total, I’ve seen 4 LASD guns with this sight, and I suspect they were probably an add-on by their department armorer.
