There was a neglected D grade that just passed through auction. I imigine/hope the new owner will give it some long overdue TLC.
As one other member commented before, i try to be a steward of the ol' springpoles. Circumstances such as condition and availability of parts dictate whether the job/rescue is worth doing. I believe this one can be brought back to duty along with the appearance greatly improved.
I love a fixer upper but decided to stay out of that auction.
