Brought another 141 home

Post by Mikeshoe72 »

Found a Model 141 in 35 Rem with a J. Unertl Hawk 4x in a Pachmayr swing away side mount on GB and had to have it. It's a transitional model, has the 22" barrel instead of the usual 24" and isn't marked Gamemaster. All matching numbers and a perfect bore. Made in September 1935. I had one of these 15 years ago with the same scope mount and regretted trading it off for who knows what years ago. It's good to have one again!

Mike, I just scored a 141 at the Clarksville show in 35R.
You will find the Pachymar mount a pleasure, it's one of the few I've been able to swing and dismount without the point of aim shifting but very little. I like 'em. Wish I had more. The 2 for 760s work great.
There is a base for a M 600 660 available if anyone needs. I haven't been able to find a rifle I'd like to put it on. One of the 358 Win or a 284 would be good I think.
