Screws for a model 41-R Lyman sight

Post by 54bullseye »

I found a Lyman 41 R sight for a model 8 I have with holes already present with filler screws in them. The sight isn't mint by any means but will match the patina of the gun just fine. The sight however didn't come with screws. Does anyone know where I could find the 3 screws ?? Or maybe know there size. Thanks John Taylor

John, My first step would be to contact Joe @ Aperturesnmore.com He should be able to help you with the screws and may have the aperture for your sight. If not the filler screws you have will give you the correct pitch and then just a matter of finding a fillister head screw of correct size. Pitch and fit to the recess in the sight most important. Can always cut for length and file the head to come flush with the sight bracket. Good Luck, Joe
