Flintlock I made back in 2001

Yes, back when my eyes were good !! LOL ! This is my 4th and final Flintlock that I made and by far my best. The wood was a solid plank of Curly Maple. The barrel is a Swamped Colerain 54 cal with round bottom rifling. The lock is made by Davis. This was a labor of love. I gathered the parts and sta...

Remington mod 8-D Grade new girl in town

Here is my newest old gun. A model 8-D grade from 1911 or so. It's far from perfect, it has been used and hunted with for sure. Bluing has carry wear and some scratches here and there as does stock !! Checkering isn't as sharp as some but I do believe it to be all original other than a Lyman front s...

Hibby83 To me not gamey in a bad way they just have more of a wild taste. There is sage out there you can see it in background of second buck. The Kansas whitetails are very mild meat as they eat all the good stuff corn, wheat, milo and alfalfa. I guess I just like the wild taste. Also beautiful cou...

Here is a pretty nice Mule Deer I got in Forsyth Montana back in 2015. The shot was 385 yds and got it with a 1965 vintage mod 700 in 7mm mag. What a ball we had that year !!! Enjoy !!
