Luke I note the top toe plate, It's almost as hard to find as the military "S" curve plate. Just don't have one any more. It was on a rough 25Rem. Got traded for a Inglis with a wooden holster. I do believe I absconded 8-) with the holster & assorted goodies. I'm fond of Browning stuff...

Had a Loctite seminar back in the day, blue should be sufficient as long as the parts don't warm too much. Purple would be a possibility, but is really for small parts & low strength. If forced to use red be absolutely sure to heat the threads to the right temp before any attempt to unthread. I ...

I concur with Luke, even the FBI brazed the shroud to the yoke, I suggest the smith will need to unscrew the shroud & prep the threads B4 brazing. Therefore He/She will need to be a professional with the machine tools to back it up. Not a job for a hand drill or a cheapo drill press.

Think that's bad some of the German claw mounts are brazed to the "ring". If they are N2 filled it has to be after the optic is mounted & fitted to the barrel. Scope is surgically attached.

I've seen 2-3 of the bbl washers with stamped notches on both sides, they were some made that way. May even have one in a rifle still. It could have been traded though. Just for the record there is a video of Cam getting a stovepipe jam. It just flipped up out of the rifle & landed right back in ejection port.
