Reblued vs. original - all shoot the same. IMHO, shame to destroy the original. Times are uncertain, originals go up in value. As you may know the .25, .30, and .32Rem all used the same case - finding the correct head stamp will be expensive. I've done well with Reedsammo with his load ammo, and they also have brass. Welcome. Indeed and interesting development but not that unusual. Like Jack said won't affect the shootability - Nor IMHO the collective value of the rifle. If it wasn't for Remington doing similar things like this semi-regularly, it might even have added value.

That picture must be very deceiving, cause I agree, it looks like that round is too long - amazing. :o What kind and size of mount are you getting? What kind of scope are you looking for? I don't have an extra but I do have a couple rifles that also have very worn tabs - doesn't seem to hurt how the rifle functions, just a pain on assembly. Always wonder exactly what was the purpose of that tab ...?

Crazy8, Got some with scopes (plus a few extra scopes that I could try) either they were already set right when I got them or I just lucked out - mine seem to sight in fine. This may sound silly but since these rifles often needed the scope to be cocked (to get parts out of the way of ejecting brass...

I'm with everyone else on this one. In my area 30's and 32's are not the easiest to find but they do show up and when they do they are usually the cheapest ... because of the obsolete caliber? GB has had several sell for 400 and under this year. Clincher for me (in addition to several other comments...

GB #204972451 - defines OVER KILL not to say anything about over priced!! Perhaps like the Russian writers of old, they are expecting compensation for the number of words and pictures: 1,161 words and 223 pictures!! Way-over-the-top even for this seller!!

Sage advice Gramps, I like it. Have a couple of non collectors that I was going to do some work on but .... One is a hand whittled butt stock on an old Savage (?) shotgun, not much to lose working with it, now at least I have an idea how to go about starting.

More observations
Couple more points (hope I'm not boring you guys :ugeek: ). These observations kind of cross over into what to do to make a good sale. But buying and selling is a trust relationship that must work hand in hand. The buyer must first feel like the seller cares about his product (via the presentation)....
