Are you talking about a rubber/silicone charging handle cover? I assume you mean a protective barrier so the firearm beside it doesn’t make metal to metal contact.
There’s a memeber on the forum that I believe is still selling what I’m talking about. His handle is “cantgroup”, he charges $1.00 a piece. He has an ad in the for sale section “model 8 barrel tool for sale”.

no, it's the grommet that holds the release pin and spring inside the operating handle knob.

The grommet you refer to is a threaded metal disk with a hole in the center for the release pin.

That is the bushing I’m looking for. Metal NOT rubber. I said rubber by error. The previous owner jammed a rubber grommet into the handle to hold the pin in place.
