Packmule was kind enough to bring by his very rare 1930 Sempert -Kreighoff Semiautomatic Rifle 8X60. This model of gun is featured in John Henwood's "The Great Remington 8" book on page 154. It is a contemporary of the Model 8/81 in that it was another high-powered semi automatic sporting rifle. The price of this rifle, in 1939, was $500. Various inflation calculators put the 1939 equivalent price to today's money around $8,300!
Here's a few photos of the rifle, enjoy!

Hey Richard,
You are so lucky to find such a rare rifle. I can't believe that you are willing to part with it so soon. If only I had the need for such a beauty, I would help you out, .
Kindest Regards,
Jack
