look what followed me home

Post by Packmule »

went to a gun show today in Ft.Worth, saw 4 model 8/81's and this one followed me home a
1949 Model 81 in 300 savage in about 90% before you subtract the bubba from it......lol

drilled and tapped and the ever so classic driver lic# fancy engraving ......but still a great deal at $400 and will make a excellent hunting rifle for sure.

Packmule,I hate it when that happens. Or at least that's what I tell my woman. Nice find despite the bubba stuff. Looks in better than 90% in pics. I 've never seen 4 --8/81 s at one show here in Iowa. We're very lucky if one pops up at a show or gunshop here at all. One every two yrs. Is more likely. Good work there!!
