barrel liner wrinkles

Post by ranman »

I picked up a kreiger model 8 in 32 cal. Looks like some doorknob had it in a vise and spun it. Is there any right way to fix without scrapping the part? I will try to get some pics on soon, befor and after if I can. On another note I was lucky to find two trigger asemblys complete with magazines and a barrel liner at a local gun shop.( I was looking for mag spring). :D

Quoting John Henwood,

"resist the temptation to try to remove the dents in the barrel jacket. Unless you have a set of 8-gauge shotgun barrel dent raisers you will probably only make things worse." (p.186)

Congrats on the find. A member here 2pversters has a lot of experience with Kriegers and has made up spare magazines for a few folks.
