I love seeing Police guns of any flavor!
In the database, we've got 3 of the KY HIGHWAY PATROL guns on record. This is one of the 3. I don't know why, but they're all in what I'd call "fence post" condition, i.e. very rough. Still a cool and authentic rare "Special Police". This particular rifle was listed on Gunbroker back in 2014 for around $6400.00. I don't know if it sold. It had the mismatched magazine back then.

It certainly appears that it gave many years of service and or didn't have the level of care that some would expect. Regardless, it's a cool gun.

It would be interesting to see if one of the other three in the data base had a mismatched magazine, too (i.e. the magazines had been swapped).
