Want to Buy model 8 or 81 in 35Rem

Post by grendel_45 »

After staggering around the guns-for-sale community, looking for Remington model 8/81's,
...i finally registered here ... still no joy }:~
I am looking for a model 8 or 81 in 35 Rem...no beaters need apply }:~
I now realize i waited ~2 years too long and these are all 'collectable' now...oh well...i still want a JMB in 35 Rem ... and good+ shape...let's see what that costs !?!
Please and Thanks for any response.

Have you looked at Gunbroker? There are always some for sale there. I have a Model 8 you might be interested in. It is chambered in 35 Remington. It is a nice one, wood and metal are very good. I had not thought about selling it. It would be in the $800 range I think.

MinnesotaDan, Did you ever sell your Model 8 for $800 range?
