Hello everyone, Dan from PA here with a Model 8 in 35 Rem

Post by RemManDan »

Hello All! My name is Dan and I am from Northeast Pennsylvania. I recently acquired a nice Remington model 8 in 35 Rem and I am looking for historical information as well as a butt plate. The rifle has a semi-pistol or prince of wales style grip and a butt shaped like the one in the picture at the top of the forum. Rifle has a serial number of an F over 26213. Any info on parts of historical value would be greatly appreciated. The rifle shoots and functions well.

#26213 was probably manufactured sometime in 1911 as the last gun shipped from the factory that year was #26489.
