buffer spring stuck

Post by doclane »

How far down does a buffer spring go down the barrel mine is stuck about a foot down? should it float down to the sight block? or does the tapper in the barrel stop it ?

Seems like we had a discussion awhile back re. dowel and washer spacer on early 8`s. I tried a search for it but no luck. I`m sure someone will be along in a little bit that can help you with this.

OK...do a search " Wood Spacer Buffer Spring" in search box top right hand corner. Viola! It works.
