30 Remington vs 6.8 SPC Shootout! (VIDEO)

Post by 81police »

Since the 30 Remington is the parent case to the 6.8 SPC, we thought it would be fun to video some family competition! Steel plates, ballistic gelatin, canteloupes...who reigns supreme? Here it is, old school vs new school...

Hey 81police,

You have produced an excellent video, again!!! That doesn't surprise me because you always do an excellent job of filming, editing and documenting. The results of the comparison of the two cartridges are impressive. Keep up the good work and Thank you for taking the time to make and share the video with us.

Regards,

Outstanding video Cam! Very well done and a great contrast between the old and new. Both do the job well. Makes it easy to see why the good old 30 Remington Auto was such a great cartridge with a fine rifle to go with it.
Cant knock the AR platform either. My grand kids and even myself have taken deer with one in 7.62x39 using hand loads with proper hunting bullets.
Thanks for the show.
