Bringing to the Event

Post by Phyrbird »

Ladies and Gents, I plan to bring stuff to the Great 8 Event. There is a bin of tools and parts coming with.
I also need some parts to help with current works.

In the Bin For Sale or Trade: (Trade usually better for both)
A couple extractors 1 25-30-32 Rem, 1 35R or 300Sav
some Contender scope mount hardware, Bueller, & Weaver; rear & front sights for same, Octagonal fore-end for 10" Bbl
a Pachymar swing over base for a Rem M600
a couple bolt links for M8/81s, a couple firing pins
2-3 barrel sleeve sights, 2 are semi buckhorn
allen screws to fit the barrel rear sight on the barrel sleeve
a Lyman 41AT FBI sight with some wear
An FBI takedown bolt & lever
A Griffin & Howe scope mount base & 3/4 rings for Model 8/81s or Browning style A5s (no screws, no top half)
(maybe) a Marbles tang sight for M8 & 81s, aperture included, screw too.
a dozen tang sight mount screws
a half dozen tang sight taps (Yeah that's right, probably the last of them)
some 1911 odds and ends parts

Needed parts: (restoration of one of our ladies)
fore-end screw for the model 8 forearm
A bare 35Rem barrel
3 mag followers
3 mag follower springs (prefer 81 type w/o rivets)
Any of the mag side springs that the small locating nib has broken for Krieger conversions

I also am trying to match a barrel assy to one of 2 32Rem ladies; one is Grade D, anyone got an extra barrel sleeve with that style engraving? I'd give it a good home.

I would be interested in a M8 in 35Rem with a semi-grip stock. Checkering would be nice. A good blue finish would be nice. The right Numbers would be nice if not required. If drilled and tapped for a Lyman 41AT or a Williams receiver (side mount) sight even better. If I can locate one for the 41AT the Williams could be for sale. If it had the screw holes for the Griffin & Howe scope mount that's OK too. (3 screws, 2 dowel pins) Photo of screw pattern:
