What cup tip punches?
I know Henwood's book called for #2 and #3 but I must have gotten something wrong. I need the one for the trigger guard retaining pin that goes through the receiver from side to side. What size cup tip punch do I need?
Re: What cup tip punches?
It doesn't need to be a cup tip, I just use a Bostitch 1/16 or 1.5mm punch to get it out

Henwood suggests cup tip punches and the pins on my weapons are convex at their heads.
I realize standard punches will work but there goes the convex pin heads.

Haha 100 bucks for a set of eight, at that price I rather make my own! My pins are flat from the 103 years of others beating the snaught out of them, in fact I never knew there were pin heads to start with until now

If you are in a hurry I've used the head of finish nails to punch out pins on other projects cause they have a concave head just fthought food for thought

One thing I have learned, don't be in a hurry if you can keep from it.
I'll try and get the whole set then, but it's on backorder right now at Brownell's.
The Model 8 I want to take apart is very minty and the convex pins are still convex.
