Check this thing out.
Sort of useless in the Model 8 or 81, unless you wanted a bolt action with really low recoil.

Though defensive violence will always be “a sad necessity” in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men. - St. Augustine
Re: 32 Rem to 32 ACP converter
They do have a purpose. Had a set of each for my 99`s. The 22HP to 22 LR was most often used. Have one for 25 acp in the 250-3000 . Can take care of small game with reduced noise when needed. The 32acp for 32 Rem would serve same purpose being utilized as a single shot in an 8 or 81.

Re: 32 Rem to 32 ACP converter
I think there is an error in the description. I can't recall where I read about chamber inserts but the 32 ACP is for 30-06. 32 ACP bullet is.309-.311 and would nor fit too well in a 32 Remington. It may have been a Rifle or Handloader magazine article that I'm trying to remember. When I get home in a couple of weeks I'll try to find it. My only experience with sub caliber devices is a 12 gauge chamber insert to shoot 357 Magnum cartridges. Wait, I just remembered I shot 7.62 NATO ammo in a 90 mm recoil less rifle when I was in the U.S.Army.
