I got it too .... knew right away it was a scam. I am sure you do not leave the house without at least one Model 8 with you.

At first I didn't think it was a scam, I just figured Jack did a little hush-hush trip to Greece to buy up the country's stock of FN 1900's

Hey fellas,
Since I'm fairly new to the computer, I responded to the email from these crooks only by asking what I could possibly do from here in Iowa. They sent me a ridiculous response asking for 1550.00 . I knew in my mind that Jack would not be emailing me for money but my curiosity got the best of me. Now i'm worried that these jerks will do the same thing to me that they've done to Jack. Any help or advice from you fellow members will be appreciated.

Hey Guys,

The story gets worse. My computer has been inactive for two weeks while I was moving to Illinois and was hooked up today. Strange as it may seem the hacking occurred last night the day before I was hooked up to the new provider. After not receiving any emails all day I called AT&T to help check why I could send but not receive any emails. During the process they informed me that the hackers had changed my incoming email to another server and that there were several emails in that server which were unretrievable. To make matters worse all my contacts had been removed and were not recoverable. After a few deleted expletives I was fully depressed about how to recover.

If I have had contact with you via an email, I would really appreciate you sending me a "Howdy" so that I can recover your email address and rebuild my contact list. Thanks for your efforts.

To those of you who have called to check about me, I sincerely appreciate your calls and text messages.

Kindest Regards,

Jack
