My 1st Model 8 ammo question

Post by texcwa »

Just got my first Model 8. found out it was manufactured in 1911 and is chambered for a .35. My question is (since i'm excited to go out and shoot it) a recommendation for good ammo (safe) to purchase? and any good deals out their on the internet?. Can't wait to shoot it and will post more info and pics in the near future.

You can shoot anything marked .35 Remington, as it's all pretty much the same. It's not difficult to find and is still in production. Ordering from the internet can involve some fairly high shipping costs if you buy only a box or two.
