Headed out it just a few for a red deer Hind , taking teh Model 8 carbine and hoping to get close enough
for a shot. Will give full review Sunday when I get back. I think it will be the first critter dispatched
with one of Pete's carbine conversions..........so fingers crossed

The hunt was down by Dublin, Texas and I didn't get it done with the 8. I tried most of the day to get close enough but never did.
Did get one but with a more modern gun with a scope. Please don't shame out too bad.......
