I found this 1900 the other day. It looks like it has led kind of a rough life. I'm on the fence as to whether I want to bid or not. The custom buttstock is definitely interesting as well as the choice of rear sight that replaced the original.

WOW! Do you think you could share the serial number with us for our FN 1900 database?

It's serial #2007.

Upon closer examination I can't tell if the buttstock had some filler added where the comb meets the wrist. I can see a faint bit of checkering left on the grip, the finish doesn't match the forearm but it seems the buttstock has an other than factory finish.

I will ad that this auction is in Canada. I'm not sure the process and or duties that are to be charged if I were to bid, let alone win.

Did you get it Hibby?
Going to Minnesota

$600 was a pretty good price (esp in Kanukastan dollars), of course taxes, buyers fee and shipping will add close to 40% to the price - still not bad

The Model 8 went for a thousand :?

Hey, no I didn't.

I hadn't even registered for the auction. That Model 8 sure brought a lot of Loonies ha.
It does look cool to me, def. not for everyone. I couldn't figure out what that crest on top of the rear of the buttstock was.

The 1900 didn't seem too bad of a price! One of these years I'll try to find one that is closer to original condition and not too much money.

I have one that came with a veteran of World War I and appears in 1903 on its barrel.

Forgive me the English. I don't know very well, but here is a photo.

Hey, that's neat. Do you have any more photos? Maybe the "1903" is the serial number?

Hi Jasiel!

"1903" would be the serial number of the rifle.

2 questions...

What country are you in?

Do you have more photos of the complete rifle?

I'm in Brazil

Soon I put some pictures, I'm storing the gun, because it was badly kept for a long time.
