bubbas fn

Post by ranman »

I managed to find bubbas fn. I would like to find some sling swivels and maybe get rid of the modle t lug nut. The rifle otherwise is in good shape and will be a fine hunting arm this fall. Has anyone got a line on some aftermarket swivels ? Jack have you any bolt bushings left.

Hey ranman,

I should have some extra sets and will make one available to you. I am waiting for the machinist to call me when they are ready to be picked up. He has had them for a little over a week and he said to give him a month. It is a "fill-in job so I have to wait until their regular work is caught up. I won't know the price until I am invoiced. It is a time and material quote. I'll post something when I get them. The estimate was around $60 per set.

Regards,

Other than Bubba's fix on the bolt handle, the 10 yard view of the gun looks pretty good. One of Jack's handle domes will make it look right. Good luck on finding correct FN sling swivels. In thirty years of collecting we have never found a stash of any FN parts. Not even a single bolt handle, piece of wood or sights. I'm sure they are out there somewhere, but it will take some luck. Congrates on owning a rare gun.
