Yet another Model 81 in .300 SAV

Post by Adam Lee »

Guys, this one actually came to me in April before the 81 I just got yesterday - anyway, pics later for same reason as always school/new dogs/sleep deprivation/etc.

Later 81, date code PTT/June, '48 and s/n 39763 which is everywhere it should be.
Slab-sided forearm, aluminum buttplate, a little scratched up but once I get it back together it will rock and roll. Nice very sharp bore. And it's a .300 SAV - yeah! Now, I have a basic 3-round assortment of 8/81's which makes me glad - .35, .30, .300SAV - good times ahead!
