Yesterday's Cool 81 Find

Post by rem81auto »

I bought 3 81's yesterday but this is the coolest one. The rifle is chambered in 35 Rem and remains in about MINT condition. The rifle also has Kreiger magazine conversion and includes 2 magazines, handmade breakdown wooden case, original rear sight, and paperwork. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Dennis

Wow and a Kreiger tooooooo... how cool is that! Good job.

Dennis, you should have warned us that drooling would be guaranteed if we opened this thread

You found a real treasure there, gosh you always seem to find the goodies! You did well friend, so many things about this rifle you don't see often (2 magazines, custom box, paperwork, etc.). Green with envy

Dennis, Don't you just love finding treasures? A very much "way cool" rifle as the kids say. Joe

I'm really digging that pistol gripped stock...I really wish that my Model 8 had one. I love my rifle, but I just don't like how my hand is positioned with the straight stock in the firing position. I absolutely love your rifle and wish she was mine so you can say that I'm very green with envy.

What a cool find. I'm sure it's a real great shooter as well.

Nice! Good to see they can be found like that sometimes.

Wow, that's neat! Does the take-down affect accuracy? Any play/wobble in the link-up?
