Shooting POE rifles *NEW VIDEO*

Post by 81police »

I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon shooting Police rifles with forum member Jack1653. We shot a number of Model 81's most of which were custom built using original Peace Officer Equipment 15 round magazines. Y'all have seen them before on various places here. One rifle has a 17" barrel assembly and a Thompson SMG foregrip. 2 hours and 200 rounds later and my shoulder is just a tad sore.

We managed to get 15 rounds out of the 30Rem gun in 2.75 seconds!

That'll burn up some ammo, and your shoulder for sure.

The results of prolonged "Jackitis". Check out the flying brass and the barrel in full recoil! Way to go Jack!

Cam_@Jack, I just watched your police gun video for the first time. Couldn't stop laughing for joy!! Reminds me of the old days when the sks's @ cheap ammo for them were first here . We did alot of that type of shooting but you guys are using original m-8 police guns. What a blast that must have been. Wish I could find one I could afford to buy some day.--Roger

Roger, both rifles are recent conversions to accept original POE 15 magazines. Dennis

Correction

The rifle That Cam was using is an original Arkansas State Police model in 30 caliber with matching serial numbner on the POE magazine.

Even though the rifle cameron was using was 30 rem. The recoil must have been intense, but super fun.-- Roger

the 30Rem is very pleasant to shoot, makes one wonder what a POE rifle in 25Rem would be like ;) ...
