E grade from auction

Post by Hibby83 »

I saw this the other day and came back to check on the auction. The seller ended the auction early, I don't know why.

Attn. admins and those that run the registry. Was this one in your database?

Real cool getting to see such a rare one pop up.

Hi Hibby!

This is only the 2nd Model 81E we've ever seen, making these likely the "rarest of the rare" when it comes to 8/81 factory engraved guns. The previous rifle was from around 1947, #32564

Good morning 81POLICE.

I wasn't sure if any had been added since you had last updated the info in the "GRADES OF ..." database.

If I was a SERIOUS collector, I may have bid. Let's be real though, not many want to spent thousands on just one gun.

Edit. I wasnt fully aware how these can turn a little plum/brown over time.
