Another 8 in 30 Rem. Pictures Posted

A couple of weeks ago my brother receives a phone call from the gun shop that did the transfers for my Model 8 25-35 Rem as well as a 30 Rem, and they just got in a Model 8 in 30 Remington. Some old timer brought it in, so one week ago Saturday past we went and looked at it. Needless to say it here now.
I've already had it apart, as it needed a serious cleaning. No beauty queen but a nice used old Model 8. I'll get some photo posted soon.

We haven't shot it yet, and I guess I could look up when it was made.
Edit: Looks like about 1912 for this one.

Well we made it to the rifle range last weekend and brought some Model 8s with us. Originally we were going to bring them all, but only brought the two 30 Remington's and the .23-35. I didn't shoot the most recent acquisition but my brother did and he said it shot pretty good.
