So I follow these guys on YouTube, great channel. At the end of this video they talk about the Model 8 quite a bit and do a fantastic job (despite the erroneous claim Frank Hamer used a Police gun).

Cam, I like watching the video clips from that guy as well. One thing interested me, was the Astra pistol in 9mm Largo. I always thought those were neat guns - but never managed to make the effort to score one, either a 300, 400 or 600 Astra.
Cool for them to review lesser-known guns, even if the Model 8 was included in such a diverse mix. Neat H&R carbine - interesting too!

Image I always thought the astras looked like the 8s having a tubular barrel. here is my 600
I have never harvested an animal, but I have killed quite a few.............
