Hey oskool,

That is a nice looking rifle. I bet it shoots as well as it looks. The threads aren't too shabby either. Those are some mighty big toothpicks. Look like they may have been there awhile. That is a nice background for your picture.

Nice pics - great background. Always appreciate the vintage look - I am not so into the "tacticool" style that seems to prevail lately!

Imagethe logs were just put there by me and my brother, we live on the edisto river and he is a first class cabinet maker and just all around carpenter. he took them out of the river to cut up for boards. he has a lot more than you see in the photos, here is my cedar strip boat he built. and yes my rifle shoots as good as it looks....... http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd4 ... 0542b6.jpg

Hey olskool,

That is a boat to be proud of!! When I lived in Georgia, I use to make regular trips to Edisto Island. A close friend had a home just off the beach. We would fish the Edisto River and had a great time. We would set crab traps and enjoy the good eating.

Fresh seafood :!: :) Lipsmackin; Jack be careful I've already had to rinse out my keyboard this week.
Note for the members in the Carolinas, a town an hour or two northwest of Murtle Beach called Calabash (Kalabash maybe) has fine all you eat dinners. It's Sinfull to quote my Mother in Law. Wish I could go back, maybe a bucket list item.
