I need a 35 cal. bolt and there is a bolt on ebay that the seller thinks is a 30 cal. What can I look for on this bolt to assure it is a 30 cal. bolt and not a 35
Thanks

Re: bolt identification for an 8
Extractors on the 35 Rem are usually straight not curved. Trouble is the 300 Sav is straight too. And the 300S is slightly larger ID bolt face. About .006. I miked all three. 25-30-32Rem have a smaller bolt face than both. 300 Sav might work with 35Rem, don't know haven't tried it yet.
