30 Rem and 35 Rem ammo on gunbroker

Post by ctgodog »

There is some ammo up for bid on Gunbroker if anyone has an interest....

As Mitch would say..."I have no dog in the race, or hunt, or whatever he always points out!!! Something like nine hours left on the items.

You will see that I have high bids on some of these. I got to checking, and I have more ammo than I thought and would not mind and actually welcome being outbid.

Indeed, I (and Clint) have no dog in the hunt but... I may know the seller! Near where I was raised - have two nephews and an ex-bil living in that "metropolis". (Last time I was there, they didn't even have a gas station/market!) Selling ammo at that price probably makes a house payment.

I guess some of you have been wondering where I have been for the last 2 years. Doing fine and was just waiting for the elusive 25 Rem that I have not been able to aquire in a condition that I liked. There have been many out there, but the price was based on being a 25 Rem and not the quality of the rifle. Just kept waiting and finally bought this one.

Still probably paid to much, but I am told by the dealer that he is a retired policeman, life time collector and that this is a beautiful piece.

I will let you know when I recieve it next week.

Mighty nice 25Rem - I sure wouldn't hide her in the back of the safe. Will be waiting to hear what you think of her when she arrives and of course how she shoots, plus the obligatory pictures......... :D

I also noticed this rifle on gunbroker, but wasn't able to bid on it. It looks truely awesome from the posted pictures. You're really lucky to have found such a nice m-8, let alone a 25 Cal. You did good at any price.
Thanks for your time, Roger
