A Very Nice Find

Post by jack1653 »

Hey Guys,

The "jackitis" was rewarded big time this week. I found this 1923 and it is even better than the pictures. The seller said it was from an estate and hadn't seen the light of day for several decades. It is by far the best auction rifle that I have purchased to date. I would grade it at 98+%. There are some insignificant blemishes on the stock that will remain untouched. I tore the rifle down and there was absolutely no dirt in the barrel jacket and the barrel was free of dirt and was as shiny as the day it left the factory.

This is one of the nine that I was trying to find. I can only hope the rest will be in as good condition.

This is my first attempt at posting pictures without the help of Mitch and Cam. I hope they are acceptable.

Regards,
