Test Firing

Post by ctgodog »

Took both my Model 8 30 REM out for a test firing today. My Grampa's 1911 30 Rem and my 1907 30 REM performed flawlessly. What a kick in the pants. I enjoyed shooting them so much, that I burnt up a whole box of vintage ammo. I am going to have to find another source for more ammo, or start reloading......only have ten boxes left!!!!

Going to have to get some 35 REM ammo also when my "Krieger Conv." Model 81 gets here!!!!

I am so very pleased with the way that both rifles performed.....

Indeed, what fun! Got another gunshow between us soon? Best place for them? If not, let me know I may have some extra 35s and/or we might have to meet up and do some m8-81, even 141 shooting.
