This is what the group looks like when the barrel tries to unscrew itself during a firing string.

I guess I didn't need the extra long shank after all. But, it's a very precise sight, until.....

A Merit adjustable peep appature. Very precise and it fits both the Redfield and Lyman sight housings. anyway, it did real good until....you guessed it....wait for it....

It unscrewed itself during recoil and I had to hunt down those tiny screws and put it back together. Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.

My sympathies :cry:
I had the same problem trying to sight in a BAR 300WM. Wasted half a box of shells till I noticed the scope bases wiggling. :shock:
