Hey Guys,

I want to thank 81police for posting the pictures for me. :D It is another good find and like 81police says any FN is a good find. I am trying to meet sighthounds challenge of getting a "Dirty Dozen". :o This rifle would certainly qualify as being a dirty one. The rifle was no safe queen that is for sure. It shows evidence of being used a lot but it cleaned up really better than I expected. There are a dents in the wood that can be raised without any difficulty. It does have the FN horn butt plate and it is in decent condition except for one very small area on the toe that is broken. All things considered, I am lucky to have found this FN.

I was telling 81police that the manufactures at the FN plant in Belgium go the extra step when making guns. You can find the serial number on many of the internal components and the quality of the components are a step up from the norm. All the parts cleaned up perfectly and looked as though they had just come off the assembly line.

I will gladly put this one with the others and say that number nine is standing in line. I am now on the hunt for number ten so I start again.

Regards,

jack1653
