M8 engraveing?

They keep saying that my files are too big to download pics on this site....so i went another route....here are the pics of my Grandfathers/fathers M8....they both had traplines in Alaska many years ago to witch it was used.note the engraveing on the side....it was professionally done....but i was hopeing
it was a rare option done by the manufacturer....anyway....anything anyone can tell me would be appreciated Bill http://remingtonm8.shutterfly.com/

Wonderful photos evocative of how beloved some of these guns came to be by those who have owned them. Man, I sure like "Lil Partner". The stories....
