I need a magazine spring for a Rem model 8/81 in 35 cal. The spring that feed the cartridges.
Can anyone help??

Other than keeping an eye on fleabay there are a couple places to check for one. Both of these list them available. Jack First will probably give you a faster response as when you call you will be talking to a real person . If you call them the part # is 18681 and is listed on page 458 of their rifle parts catalog.

Thanks for the tip. I just got off the phone with Jack First. They have the spring and I ordered one.
They are aftermarket and cost $38.00 plus S&H , but its the only game in town.

Glad you were able to find it. Have been there a couple times with that "only game in town" business. Pre War (1939) model 70 safety lever was most recent. Looked high and low and ended up calling Jack.He had one and even though a bit pricey I was glad to get it.
