Reciever sight restoration

Post by Phyrbird »

Need: I too need some small parts. I could use a Redfield 102 rectangular spring that fits under the elevator of the sight. One of mine has a crack. A windage block for a Lyman 41AT is needed. Just the block where the aperture screws in. Please don't refer me to another expensive auction  for the whole sight assy just to restore/replace a small part. I'm looking for a piece that needs to find a home for a reasonable trade/boot.

Anybody got pieces/parts that for restorations for our members? We gotta help each other..... :D

I don't know if this will help, but this guy did a great job for me at a very reasonable price on a Marbles sight 3-5 years ago. So says he bought up all the Marble parts for the M8/M81 tang sight years ago. He may be able to send you the Lyman parts you need or send you to someone that can. -sihttp://www.marlinowners.com/forum/32-40-38-55- ... sghts.html

Good luck and we do try to help each other out.

Oh, this is to make up for not posting for sometime and someones request that we do so.

Be safe and enjoy life.

Heads up 8-) :ugeek: :!: :!:
Taps for tang sight threads on the way. ;) These are correct taps from earlier posts...
Some available for members; clean up those threads if needed.
