Would like to find a replacement screw for the forward (barrel shroud) sling mount for a newly-acquired 81. The one that came with the rifle rattled off and was nearly lost in the snow as I was checking cycling of the old girl; initial impression is that the threads of the shroud are good but those on the screw are stripped/flattened.
Anyone who has one to spare, or knows a possible source, I'd be grateful.
Thanks.
Dale

Ah, thanks, Phyr! Will drop a line to each of them, as well as continuing to check in here.
I belatedly found a thread at the end of the troubleshooting section that suggests there may be at least two different types of tapping done over the years for this screw/attachment site. If true, makes it a bit trickier to replace; I may have to get a gauge to measure my rifle's thread count.

Thanks again for the leads, and anyone else who might be holding, would be glad to hear from ya.
