$1400 Remington 8 .25 Remington 1911 $1400

Post by Hardrada55 »

Heads up forum members! I would like to sell my 1911 vintage Remington model 8 autoloading rifle chambered in .25 Remington for $1400 plus actual shipping costs. It has a 1931 repair code and a nice peep sight. Shipped to FFL or C&R. No sales out of USA.

Sir, It appears that this rifle has the scarce rifle type buttplate. Some members here may not know how rare that plate is. Looks to be a good solid 25 REM. M8.
Someone here should buy it. I’m only buying checkered model 8s now. Otherwise I would buy it myself.
Thanks for your time

Looks good.

Tempting, I only own one 25 Rem and it was refinished "professionally". I believe it has a CBR stock set.

Trigger guard serial # matches the gun? Does the barrel assembly have the serial number?

I don't know if the trigger guard serial matches, but the barrel matches the receiver. The only thing bad about this gun is that someone drilled holes in the bottom of the forearm and stock to mount now long gone sling swivels.
