Gee! I didn't know this was one of those auction websites. What'll we call it?...Great8Bay?

Sounds good.
Nahhh, really was "claiming" it before anyone stuck him to that price of $5. He's asking $35 plus the $5 for shipping. It's listed on the Remington Society forum.
April Fools was yesterday, so I figured this was just an honest mistake. ;)

Yep! A big ol' brain fart. I cut and pasted the text from the Gunbroker listing and forgot to include price on forums.

Anyone know if the brass clips are older or if the steel ones are after market? Mine are brass.

Loren,

According to Henwood's book, the steel clips were made during and after WWII. The brass clips were around since the beginning.
