Barrel tools

Post by liberty »

Do you guys have links to places that carry tools to take apart the barrel on a Model 81. I figure I need to do a once over on a gun I bought five years ago. My how time flies.

I believe Bob with Circle B Ranch ceased production of his barrel tool set.

You'll have to improvise, one suggestion is using a Winchester Winchoke spanner wrench for the barrel nut.

Wow Cam, I didn't know that. I am really glad I went ahead and picked up a set when they were available.

A 25mm die handle works perfect for the barrel nut. I enlarged the hole to 11/16ths fit over the barrel nut. You can get these from eBay for around $6.00.
