What a great website. I inherited my great uncles Model 8 several years ago and am glad to have found your site! When I get home I will post some specifics about the rifle. All I can remember offhand is that it is a Model 8 in .35 Remington that has seen alot of use but is in reasonable condition considering age. I've hunted with it from time to time over the years and have always loved it. There are some parts that I need and will post a want ad soon (operating handle pluger and assoc. parts). Lokking forward to reading more of the site as time permits.

Welcome. You are starting at the top of the heap w/ a .35, regardless of what I might say about there is always room to add another .25 to my group.
