Another 81 owner

Hello folks. My name is Matt and I'm from a tiny town in central Ca. called Hilmar. I grew up on my familys farm in Crowslanding Ca. and have been hunting and shooting since I was big enough to heft a Daisy. I go by clampdaddy because I am a proud member of the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus.

Hey Matt,
Welcome to the Forum. I had to google E Champus Vitus to see what it was. Interesting! WE hope you enjoy the site and maybe you can add some history perspective of the Remingtons.

Thanks guys. Glad to see that I'm not the only one who loves these old autoloaders. My hunting buddys call my 81 "the pom pom gun" because of the way the barrel moves back and forth in the barrel housing.
