.25 Rem Beginner

Post by Jgreff7 »

I inherited a Model 14 in .25 Remington from my Grandfather and that led me to discovering the Model 8. My current thought is, if I’m going to reload for my Model 14, I might as well have a Model 8!

If anyone has suggested reading to learn about the Model 8, or knows of specific places I should look if I want to acquire one, I would appreciate the input.

Lots of great info on this site, as well as a WTB/WTS section.
If you can track down a copy of Henwood's book, there is hours of reading and tons of obscure info

Welcome to the forum. A 25 as your first, that's awesome.

There's a GREAT wealth of info on this forum. You can utilize the search function to track down what you're looking for in particular. If you can't find such info post a question up.

I haven't tested the waters on loading the 25 yet. I have all the components, 117 grain Hornady Interlocks along with IMR 3031 powder.
