My great grandfather passed his model 8 down to my grandfather who then passed it down to my uncle. I have always admired his 32 REM, but I knew he would be passing it onto my uncle, and my dad would get the Win 94, so I always looked for them when I went to gun shows and shops. I finally found one last week at a local pawn shop, and the price was right. It is in 35 rem so ammo will be more accessible. I'm a big John Moses Browning fan and as a gunsmith I really admire his designs. I found this forum after doing a project for gunsmith school a few years back and it has been a great resource. So anyways he's some picks of my 81 in 35 Rem. and all the SN's match.
